At Transcript LOL, we are dedicated to providing our users with exceptional service and a great experience. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are processed for our subscription plans and one-time payments.

Subscription Plans and Top-ups

Transcript LOL offers various subscription plans and top-up options to meet different user needs, including monthly and annual subscriptions as well as one-time top-up purchases. This policy details the specific conditions for refunds, ensuring our process is transparent and fair.

Refund Eligibility

Users are eligible for a refund if ALL of the following conditions are met:

  • Less than 100 minutes of transcription have been used
  • Less than 50% of the purchase or plan's allocated allowance has been used
  • The request is made within 7 days of payment

Important: If ANY of these thresholds is exceeded, the refund request will not be eligible. Whichever limit is reached first determines eligibility.

Example Scenarios:

  • User A: Made a purchase with 150 minutes allocation, uses 60 minutes within 5 days. User A is eligible for a refund (under 100 minutes, under 50% of allocation, within 7 days).
  • User B: Made a purchase with 2000 minutes allocation, uses 120 minutes within 5 days. User B is NOT eligible for a refund (exceeded 100 minutes threshold).
  • User C: Made a purchase with 150 minutes allocation, uses 40 minutes but requests refund on day 10. User C is NOT eligible for a refund (exceeded 7-day threshold).

Monthly Plans

For monthly subscriptions, the refund eligibility criteria above apply to the current billing period only. Refunds cannot be applied to past billing periods.

Annual Plans

For annual subscriptions, the same refund eligibility criteria apply:

  • If eligible (meeting ALL three conditions), a full refund is granted
  • If any threshold is exceeded, no refund is available

Refund Process

To initiate a refund, please contact our customer support at [email protected] with the subject "Refund Request." Include the email address associated with your account in the email.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and do not cover any processing fees or transaction charges incurred during the initial purchase.

Exclusions

Certain situations are excluded from our refund policy:

  • Requests made after exceeding any of the three eligibility thresholds (100 minutes, 50% of allocation, or 7 days)
  • Requests based on subjective factors such as content changes or branding preferences
  • AI Model Accuracy: We do NOT offer refunds for the accuracy of our AI models. AI models are inherently unpredictable and results may vary based on numerous factors including audio quality, accents, background noise, and technical terminology. We strongly encourage our users to test the accuracy of our models with your specific requirements on our free plan before subscribing to a paid plan.

Policy Modifications

Transcript LOL reserves the right to modify this refund policy. Users will be informed of any changes via email or on our website. Users are encouraged to review the refund policy regularly.
