Hey guys, Richard here from the Plain Bagel.

I'm not feeling proud about what I want to talk about today, but I think I owe you guys some transparency with something that's kind of been going on online, some murmurings that I want to address head on.

You might know that last week I posted a video about finfluencers talking about how sometimes people will peddle things to their audience that's not necessarily in their best financial interest and I guess some people didn't like that and you know as tends to be the case when people want to cancel an influencer or whatever, they started digging through my Twitter history and found something from 2 years ago that I have admittedly tried to hide, you know, so now delete a tweet of mine, but again, I don't think that's fair.

So I wanted to address the issue head on and really clear the air about a few things.

So if you aren't familiar, the tweet that I'm talking about, it goes, get that bread, bagel butt, NFTs are about to, then there's a rocket ship emoji, no cap, everyone should buy now, fastest way to make $3 signs.

Sell everything, get debt, put it all in butts.

If you aren't familiar, Bagel Butts was an NFT project I tried launching 2 years ago.

Actually, exactly 2 years ago today, funny enough.

A drama channel called CoffeeZilla ended up getting involved.

Really used to respect that guy before all this happened.

Obviously, I'm going to take full accountability for what happened.

Regardless of whose fault it was, I want to step up and say sincerely that I'm sorry for everything around the NFT project.

But I do want to provide some context that's often missing with a lot of the discussions here.

There were some nefarious players on our team.

Francis Helvetica for example, the art director.

Turns out not even his real name, he said the Helvetica font was named after him.

I didn't think someone would lie about that.

Also the artist, we paid 50 bucks for the project.

He tweeted some fud right before everything was lost.

I think that really changed the sentiment on the coin so you know a bit of responsibility there.

But nonetheless given you know this tweet of mine I acknowledge that because of my actions a lot of people are stuck with a worthless picture of a butt on their crypto wallets and that's not acceptable.

So I will look to right my wrongs and try to do whatever I can to...
