Then 18 months later, you've made 2.9 million with just 7 clients because you switched everything to the growth partner model.

That's exactly what happened to me and in this video, I'm gonna share with you what a growth partner is, how you can get started as a growth partner and some of the mistakes that we've experienced so you can do the same that I did but in half the time.

So if you're anything like me and you've been following this space for a while, then it's likely you were probably charging anywhere from 5,000 to 3,000 per month for your services like Facebook ads or short-form content to a specific niche like Ecom or Medspars.

Now, imagine being able to charge 5 to 10x that while securing 12 month contracts and even getting a percentage of their revenue from the clients that you're helping for handling a little more than just 1 service.

And personally, I started this in April 2022.

And by the end of May, I'd already signed 4 Growth Partner clients.

1 for 7,100 per month for 12 months, 1 for 10,500 per month for 12 months, another for 10k per month for 12 months and another for 87,750 for 12 months.

And that was all before the performance fees where we generate way more than that.

And that is why the growth partner model is so good.

And since you're charging more, you can actually work with less clients, which means they get more of your direct attention and ultimately better results and stay with you for longer.

As you compare that to what I had when I was doing SMMA, I was struggling to get results because I had no time.

The clients were dropping off regularly and had massive revenue fluctuations from month to month.

We've actually taken hundreds of SMMA owners just like you in the same position that you are now to making anywhere from 20 to 100k per month consistently, all being tied down to 12 month contracts.

Now you know why the agency owners are switching to the growth partner model, let's talk about what actually is a growth partner and how you can become 1 as soon as possible.

So step 2 here is how the growth partner model actually works.

So basically a growth partner looks at the end-to-end sales process and a focus on increasing their clients revenue and profitability.

Meaning they don't just do Facebook ads like most SMMAs, they look at their partners offers, the creatives, the funnels, the campaigns, the copy, the management, the email flows, SMS flows, even tweak the back-end sales process if they need to.

And this way, increasing each of those little components by 20%, it's not a 20% increase in overall performance.

It can be a 200, 300, 400% increase, which is the difference between a profitable campaign and not.

Now to control more of the process, you obviously need to charge more.

So instead of just charging the 2,000 per month for Facebook ads like I was, we were charging 10,000 a month for everything and getting a percentage of the revenue on top, we're able to generate them to keep us incentivized.

Now what's funny is you're probably already doing more than you realize but you're not telling them, at least I was in my situation.

So what you do is you can actually break down each step with a client and show them a clear plan of going from A to B using everything we just discussed.

This doesn't have to be completely done for you, it's not all hands on.

For example, when it comes to the backend sales process, you're not gonna have to jump in and start taking sales calls, But you might come in and look at where the problems are, where things are breaking in the current process and help them solve that.

You know, how can you help them build more trust?

How can you get more people to turn up to calls?

Because ultimately, if you're increasing someone's revenue, sales is a massive part of that.

And if the client doesn't start closing, it doesn't really matter how many leads you're gonna send them, they aren't gonna continue to pay you.

Now I get asked all the time, do you need to be an agency owner before you can become a growth partner?

And while it can be useful to own an agency before, because you'll be able to transition your current clients into these kind of long-term partners, it's not necessary to run an agency.

And if you're committed enough, you'll actually be able to get started as a growth partner just using what we share on this channel here on YouTube.

And in many ways, it's actually better because you get to skip all the pains, all the headaches, all the problems, all the lessons I had to learn the hard way because of the traditional model and get started in a better vehicle where we can make more money with less clients and do it quicker.

Like Luke, who went and closed a $60,000 deal in just 17 days while still in college.

And the first thing you wanna do is actually reposition what you have now, that current offer, and the skills that you have into a growth partner offer.

So you're the best or only option in your market and can confidently charge at least 5,000 to 20,000 per month before the revenue share.

So what we're gonna do is we're gonna start with a niche where you have experience with case studies in.

You're gonna work with clients kind of doing that 1 to 5000000 per year and focus on growing their revenue.

And then this is how I kind of think about building that out that offer.

If you just signed your biggest client, they were paying you 5 figures every month guaranteed.

They had a massive brand, they were prepared to give you tons of referrals.

If you knock it out of the park, what would you do to actually guarantee those results?

Now, you just need to charge enough to actually go and do that.

Next, after we've repositioned your offer, we're going to focus on the client acquisition through cold outreach.

And we actually recently just dropped a video on how we use cold email to get your first clients.

Starting off, of course, you're going to have 0 clients and really limited financial resources so utilizing cold outreach is going to be key for you and as soon as you start sharing the results and case studies you're gonna start getting those warm leads so this is just to start with.

Now after getting some clients in you know 3 or 4 here's how you really build out that business we're gonna do is focus on systemizing and delegating everything, so you can eventually get all the client work off your plate, while making sure that your clients are getting the results that they paid for.

And the way we're gonna do this actually by start by analyzing the current partners.

So you're gonna look for who's getting the best results, who's paying the most, who's the best to work with, who do you enjoy the most and why?

Then once you've got all the answers to this, you can actually focus on bringing on more clients that are similar to the 1 and make it as easy as possible to get paid a lot and getting great results in the process.

Next, what you wanna do is actually track just where you're spending all of your time and document everything that is working for your current client.

Now you can actually go and search for new team members on LinkedIn, use the money that you have to bring them on board and take away those time-consuming tasks for you.

Now we've made a ton of mistakes across this journey and we've obviously been through a lot of failure before we got to this point and success doesn't come easy and it definitely doesn't come without some lessons and failure.

So don't get put off when something goes wrong.

Now we struggle with tons of things and I even remember as we grew some of the smaller prospects that we were working with said they couldn't afford our services and we actually tried to accommodate them by delivering a done with you service for kind of a lower fee.

So we basically reduced some of the things we did to make sure that we could actually work with them.

We made less profits, the results were worse, the clients were worse.

We ended up hating the work, as overall it was just lower quality than what we were used to.
