There's definitely some, most, like I feel like most of them are iconic songs.

So the first 1 that came to mind to me was Here Comes the Sun.

So maybe it would be that 1, just because it was the first 1 that popped into my head.

Cool, Let's see what we have in the questions section.

Ethan says, how do I get my StreamYard logo to look like yours?

So it should be pretty straightforward, Ethan.

If you have your own logo, you can just upload it in the logo section and it will be in the right corner there.

If you want more flexibility, like say you want it to be in the top left or bottom right, you also have the option to just upload it as a transparent overlay and that will allow you to sort of place it wherever you like.

But if I'm misunderstanding the question at all, do let me know.

Yeah, I know we had a similar question last week as well.

And just to be clear too, if you're on the free plan, you'll have this.

If you're on the paid plan, you can upload your own logo.

And in our case, that's what we're doing.

We've uploaded our own and we're specifically kind of uploading a logo where it's just like, it only takes up a small amount of space.

So like we uploaded a large streamer duck and look like that.

We basically have like a transparent PNG where The logo itself only takes up the top right corner of it, so then it's much smaller.

Studio Group says, love the video backgrounds, uploaded a few good ones.

Awesome Studio Group, glad you're enjoying them.

Yeah, we're actually, it's very subtle, but we're using 1 right now.

Yeah, I really like the nice subtle ones.

Wendell's Cat says, is the feature to mark certain parts in the live stream for edits?

Yes, that was actually 1 of the things we were going to remind folks about tonight was the markers option.

So let me just show that banner really quick.

There's nothing that you have to know about the hotkey to use it.

But the whole idea of this feature is that while your stream is live, if there's a particular moment that you want to remind yourself that, hey, something important happened here, and I want to come back to it, you can do that throughout the stream.

So yeah, if the stream is going on and you press that key, in post, if you go into the StreamYard editor, you'll see that there is a marker icon at that particular point.

It's definitely something that's come up historically a lot.

And it works for if you have a co-host as well.

So if there's someone that you have behind the scenes, or maybe they're on screen with you too, they also will have the option, assuming they are a co-host, the ability to also help you generate markers throughout the stream.

Some of the things that came up last time was the ability to integrate with stuff like Adobe products and whatnot and those editors and export those into those products.

It's not available yet, but definitely something that we want to add given how much that came up.

Yeah, in terms of, because you mentioned you hadn't seen it yet, we should have, I can't remember if we actually turned this on yet or not, but we are, if we haven't already, we're planning to have some kind of onboarding flow where you do see like a modal that explains how it works and explains to press B in order to create a marker.

I don't know if that actually went live yet.

I think it did, but if not, you may not have seen that.

And just to show you, this is what it ultimately looks like.

You can see those little blue arrows at the bottom there on the timeline.

Those are basically the markers that you would have created when you were recording or while you're live.

All right, let's see what else we had for tonight.

Question here from Anna says, can we have the option to upload recordings to YouTube instead of live stream?

Yeah, Anna, we actually launched this not so long ago, assuming I'm understanding the question correctly.

So if you do a recording on StreamYard, like if you do a record only broadcast, after it's over, you do have the option to post that directly to YouTube.

And instead of being a live stream, you can just like upload a video to YouTube, which is nice because you can sort of use the StreamYard editor and clean it up and decide what you want to actually post to YouTube.

Yep, and we are going to make this experience a bit better.

So right now, basically what you do is after you finish the recording, you go into the edit and repurpose flow.

So you click the edit and repurpose button inside the video section.

So if you're on the dashboard of the videos tab, click on your video and then just click edited repurpose.

And from there you can click publish in the top right and then you can just publish it straight to YouTube.

We might make that flow even easier if you don't wanna edit it at all and you basically just wanna publish the recording exactly as is.

And then I think we're also going to try and extend the limit because I think it's all limited to 20 minutes on every platform right now When you post from stream out and I know some of them actually have slightly higher limits So we're gonna customize and allow you to post like as long as YouTube allows essentially which I think is more than 20 minutes for YouTube.

Yolanda says, how do I get my logo to spin?

Yeah, so if you do want to have an animated logo, you can do that.

The easiest way to do it for now would be to just upload it as a GIF.

So in the logo section, you actually have the option to upload GIFs.

I don't know, do we have any good examples, Dan?

I know some of the ones that I've tested before are, I don't think I actually have an example in here right now, but maybe next time we'll-

There's a bunch of cool logos, but not GIFs.

So if you want your logo to spin, you would just basically create a GIF animation of that logo spinning.

Yeah, and here's an example just as a GIF overlay.

Essentially, it's a GIF, but for the, like Dan said, for the overlay versus the logo, but you can do the same thing.

Creative Lady says, is there a way to notify viewers if the scheduled broadcast has been postponed?

Also, any updates on the bulk overlays delete, thanks.

So when it comes to notifying viewers of postponements, it's unique on each platform.

So I think depending on whether it's YouTube or Facebook, I think they each handle it slightly differently in terms of like how they let folks know that like there's been a change of the broadcast date, but it's not something that we do anything for on StreamYard itself.

I'm just trying to think if there's anything that we could do.

I don't think there's not too many options on our side.

The only other 1 I could think of that you could consider is if you do have an email list that you use to like sort of advertise or promote the upcoming broadcast, you obviously would have the option to let them know, hey, it's been changed.

Or the same thing on social media, but we're pretty reliant on YouTube and Facebook itself in terms of how they decide to notify folks if you change the time or something like that.

On the bulk overlays delete, it's something that we absolutely wanna add.

I understand It's just sort of like a pain point we want to solve.

Don't have a specific date or update, but it is something we plan on adding, right Dan?

No changes so far, but eventually we will add it.

Karen says, did a live stream on Saturday, but my logo was on, but I could not replace the StreamYard with my overlay.

So if you're on a paid plan, Karen, you definitely should be able to do that.

My best guess is that maybe you are logged into the wrong account and you're accidentally logged into like a free account or something like that.

But if you go to streamyard.com slash contact support can help you walk through what might be going on there but you absolutely should be able to replace it.

Yeah, as long as you're on a paid plan and the brand tag, you should be able to do that fine.

And it's also possible maybe you were, maybe you had like a StreamYard overlay up accident and you were trying to remove the logo or vice versa maybe.

Yeah, let us know, Karen, if you have any updates.

But yeah, support will probably be the most helpful.

They'll be able to just like walk you through every step.

All right, let's see what else we have here.

Question from Rob says, what is the repurpose tab in destinations?

Yep, so when you create content in StreamYard, you know, a lot of people obviously are using StreamYard for live streaming, but whether you're using it for live streaming or recording, Once you've finished creating a stream or creating a recording, you can then edit your content and post it as shorts and reels on some of the platforms or even just post longer form videos on the platforms.

So this is kind of back to the markers thing we were talking about earlier, where StreamOut actually has an editor.

So once you finish, you now have a recording on StreamRoute and then you can edit that and trim it down to maybe a 1 minute segment or create a short from that content and then post that off to TikTok, to Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, all these different platforms.

And some of them are slightly different than the ones you can live stream to which is why we have a separate repurpose section on the destinations page because for example TikTok doesn't allow us or anyone to live stream to it from outside of the TikTok app So we don't have a TikTok live streaming integration.

You know, if they ever open that up, we will, but we do have the ability to post shorts or whatever we call them, TikToks to TikTok through their API.

So you can actually have a TikTok repurposing destination, which don't have a TikTok live streaming destination.

I see a couple of questions here about, where did it go?

About the current Chrome bug for Android, 1 from Scholar here.

What's going on with the sort of Android Chrome stuff right now?

So as of 3 days ago, 4 days ago maybe, Chrome 1.19 was released on Android.

So if you're on an Android device and you use Chrome, which most people I think do on Android, it has an echo issue where if you're, say you have a guest on Android, like maybe you're on a desktop device, but you have a guest on Android, and you're talking, you might hear yourself because there's an Android slash Chrome bug on the newest version.

So right now we have messaging in our product that we've added to basically explain this to you.

And essentially the workaround for now, there's 2 workarounds.

1 is wear headphones, specifically the person on Android, they wear headphones, that'll get rid of it.

So you can use like, if you're on a Samsung device, you can use the Samsung internet browser, which is basically the same as Chrome, it's just slightly different.

And then also if you're on like a Google Pixel phone, you could use Firefox or something else, and all of those will avoid the echo.

But Chrome is also aware of the issue, like the Chromium team, so they're working on fixing it.

I'm hoping it's fixed relatively soon, but I guess it's at least a few more days before they've actually rolled out any kind of fix.

Like, anyone using Chrome on an Android is impacted, so they should fix it quickly.

Across all devices, like anything related to video calls in Chrome on Android is having issues.

Hey, Roger, it was nice catching up with you earlier this year.

Question from LM says, hi, are you considering the possibility of allowing the live stream embedding into websites, and not only the webinars where there is a viewer limit.

So the, yeah, the way for on-air, the way that sort of like an on-air webinar works and an on-air live stream works, it's sort of the, it's the same type of technology, right?

So in StreamYard's case, they're kind of the same thing.

We do have, like if you do need limits higher than 10,000, we do have custom plans for that, that you can reach out, we can connect you with someone on the team to set up a custom plan.

But we do, I mean, part of the reason for the limit is we have to pay for the bandwidth to send that stream out to all of those folks.

So it would be unlikely that we would have some sort of embedding setup such that it would be unlimited into a website just because we have to send that stream to all of those people, right?

So whether it's embedded into a website or it's on air itself, it's still ultimately the feed is coming from StreamYard, which is why we have the limits there.

So it's only YouTube where they kind of make that money back by just running ads on everything.

Like On the Internet obviously doesn't have any ads and that's why we basically charge for it instead.

If you do wanna have, you know, if you're planning to have a million viewers or a hundred thousand viewers, you don't wanna pay for that, you could embed a YouTube stream essentially on your site, but it has the limitations I just mentioned, right?

Like it's gonna be the YouTube player, it's gonna have ads, it's gonna have recommended videos, stuff like that.

So it's kind of a trade-off between them.

If you are looking to have a solution without limits, but you are willing to have the YouTube ads like Dan said, that's a very good idea is embedding the YouTube stream.

Lady Lock says, is there a way to block someone from joining without it alerting them to being blocked?

Yeah, so if you mean joining like the sort of block functionality we have with the StreamYard Studio, yeah, unfortunately there are gonna be notified that they're being blocked, but yeah, something that we should probably consider having an option to change.

it is tricky, Like, I mean, you're probably familiar with, for example, like when platforms will shadow ban someone, meaning they're posting and they think their posts are going somewhere, but they're actually not.

It is tricky to do that when it's a studio, because it's pretty clear you can't enter the studio.

Like we can't really put them in like a fake shadow studio or something like that.

But yeah, we can maybe tell them something else.

It's just if they know Stream Notable, they'll probably know they were blocked.

So yeah, I don't think we'll change that unless we hear it come up a lot more.

I see a couple of questions about Black Friday deals and folks asking if it's only available for new customers.

So the stuff that we will offer during Black Friday will be available for everybody, existing and new.

You'll see it when it comes closer to the time of Black Friday.

But it'll likely be similar to the stuff we've done in the past.

So if you guys remember the essentials offer we did in the past and some of the discounts on annual plans, it'll be likely similar to that.

But yeah, more details when we're closer.

More says, can we have the option to do multiple screen shares?

Yeah, I would say we're definitely open to it.

And yeah, it's the type of thing we may add at some point.

The main reason we actually don't right now is just because it is pretty hard on your computer to capture multiple screens and a lot of streamer users don't have the most powerful devices and just in the browser can be pretty intense.

So yeah thus far we've opted not to allow it but I definitely get the use case for it.

So I would say we're certainly open to it.

I mean, maybe we would add it and just kind of warn people that, hey, this is a little harder on your machine, or maybe not lead to it if your machine is not super powerful.

Christopher says, let's see, Christopher, is there a list for feature updates by date?

We actually, not so long ago, we have a whole log now of every product update, which the link is now escaping me.

But you can also find it from the app dashboard.

If you just go to streamrider.com and click the little dropdown menu in the top right, there's something that says new, I think, right Dan?

Yeah, I'm just gonna, yeah, it's new.streamrider.com.

Ah, perfect, so yeah, like Dan said, new.streamrider.com has sort of all the major feature updates and the sort of date that they're announced.

But yeah, on the dashboard, top right corner, my account, yeah, I think it says news actually, but we might change it to say new features or something like that to make it a little clearer what that is.

Karina says, is there, or maybe it's a suggestion here.

I'd like the ability to auto schedule streams and recordings or maybe have a personal room that never changes.

So there is the ability to do prerecorded streams, Karina.

So if you have, say you're going to have to miss a live stream, but you still want to post something for it.

You do have the option to upload that at a scheduled date that goes out.

When it comes to a personal room link that never changes, that is something that we're actively thinking about and will likely address.

Kevin Wells says, a game changer would be an AI clip generator for podcasts.

So we do have some really cool stuff coming for the editor and actually other aspects of the product too that involve AI, Kevin.

So even next week, we'll have some cool stuff to announce most likely.

When it comes to repurposing, we want to give you guys a lot of tools where you recorded all this awesome content or maybe you did an awesome live stream, make it really, really easy for you to take that content and make it go farther through stuff like AI.

Don says, any chance there will be a call-in feature that's built in, ideas or perspectives?

So yeah, no firm date or anything on a call-in feature.

Don, the thing we always suggest is to just have folks go to the StreamYard link itself.

The other option too, like if you do need a physical phone number is to, sorry, I'm trying to get my camera to refocus.

The stuff like the Rodecaster Pro are really popular, which is basically an audio interface that you could connect something like a cell phone to, and that will give you like an actual number to call in.

And there's also sort of virtual options too, where If you use something like VoiceMeeter, you can bring in a Google Voice number as well.

But yeah, definitely understand the appeal of being able to have a number as well in StreamYard.

So something we'll definitely think about.

I think Most folks are probably familiar with the giveaways we do towards the end of the streams.

But yeah, at the end, we always do a giveaway.
