Welcome everyone on this demo video on Cloud Platform Integration Suite, which focuses on simplifying integration by connecting processes, data, and devices.

In a business-to-business integration, the challenges that company face is that each of the vendors or partners that a company would be interacting with would be using a different set of standards for their business to business communication.

Some vendors might be using XTL based documents and some may be using a UN EDFact based document.

Even within the same standards, the interfaces changes drastically based on the geographical location and industry classification of the vendors.

Therefore, for each new vendors, new set of interfaces have to be generated and then mapped to the underlying APIs of the target system, like SOAP or OData or IDOX.

This makes the task of a business-to-business integration time-consuming, and at times, even error-prone.

In this episode, learn how to use the machine learning capabilities of Cloud Platform Integration Suite to create customized interfaces, generate the best mapping proposal, along with the mapping documents and runtime deployment artifacts.

Studies have shown that the Cloud Platform Integration Suite can speed up the content creation to deployment process for a business to business integration by almost 60 percent.

Let's quickly log on to the system to have a quick demo.

In the integration advisor capability of Cloud Platform Integration suite, the most commonly used type systems or the standardized interfaces are already made available.

For example, you can see here we have the X12 standards, the CXML standards, as well as the ISO standards.

Within each of these standards, we have the messages, the complex types, and the simple types and the code list.

Doing a quick search of typing in A50 gives us the standard interfaces which is used for purchase orders for an X12-based integration.

Based on these interfaces, we can auto-generate the customized integration guidelines.

For example, here we have created an interface for the workspace solution based on italks.

This is because the workspace, which is the target system, uses SOAP ITOC-based interfaces from S4 HANA Cloud as for the integration.

You could see here, we have the structures for the purchase order system for the ITOC documents.

We have information about the code list, as well as the runtime context, any kind of data constraints, the max length, and the position of these data sets also made available.

Next, we are looking at the interfaces for the source system, which is in this case, Global Corp.

Global Corp uses X2L-based interfaces for their business-to-business communication.

In here, as before, you could see we have the 850, which is the purchase order interfaces.

Based on these customized interfaces, we can now quickly generate the mapping guidelines.

For this, first let us select the target system, which is the Global Corp.

Next, let's select the target system, which is, in this case, Workspace.

With the source and the target system selected, we click on Create.

Now based on the source and the target interfaces, the interface guideline is auto-generated.

Next we can click on the proposal to generate the mapping proposal between the source system and the target system, which is X2L and IDOC.

Next, we can select the machine learning capability of Cloud Platform Integration Suite to select the best mapping proposal.

We can quickly save the proposal, move on to the mapping tab.

By navigating the mapping tab, you could see here in a matter of minutes, the mapping is auto-generated.

In this case, we have 2 different customized interfaces between Global Corp and the Workspace Solution, 1 which uses X12, the 1 which uses IDOC.

You can also see the confidence that the system has for each of this mapping, the cardinality, as well as the constraints.

Not just the mapping proposal, we can also simulate the interfaces and the mapping structure.

In this case, the examples that was specified when the interfaces was created would be used to test and simulate the mapping.

We can export each of this node and view more.

Next, we can click on the export option and select documentation.

With this, based on the mappings, a mapping document would be auto generated.

This is very useful during the audit purposes in a business to business integration because the document is auto generated based on the system.

This speaks about the functional correctness.

Here you could see we have the mapping documentation generated from Global Corp to Workspace.

This is a very detailed mapping documentation which talks about the source interface, the target interface, the structures, the code list, the values that has been used.

Now looking at the complexity of the document itself, you could have figured it out how tedious and cumbersome it could have been to manually generate this document.

Next, we can click on the export and select the runtime options to generate the end-to-end mapping, the validations, as well as the required set of APIs that is required to communicate between the X2L-based interface from Global Corp to the ITOC-based systems that Workspace would be using.
