The question is sometimes people mistake your goodness for your stupidity. What to do? Let them think what they want to think. You cannot get your point across everywhere. Not everybody will understand you. The world is not supposed to function that way. People will see what they want to see. If that is what’s going to bother you beyond a degree, then either they are right or it’s your problem. Let that not bother you. If you are walking the path of truth yes, you can express yourself, you can maybe explain yourself to those who really matter but beyond that let them think. Because those who should be in your life, they should be aligned with your thought process. And, if they are aligned, they will be there. If they are not aligned do you actually want them?

The thing to remember is that are you sure about what you are doing. If you are, stay course. If you are not, then maybe listen to them. I feel that good or bad, whenever anybody says anything to you, give it a hearing. Hear them out.

So her question is sometimes at work, you said, right?

People mistake your goodness for your stupidity.

They then, you know, they alienate you and so on.

So Maybe I'm thinking I'm being good, but maybe the truth is something else.

Now, assuming that not to be the case, assuming it's not exactly the case, that you are actually being good and not dumb, let them think what they want to think.

That's really my view, that you cannot Get your point across everywhere.

The world is not supposed to function that way.

People as I wrote in 1 of my recent posts, people will see what they want to see.

Even till date, Every time I publish a new post and people get notified, the support team, they get these filthy emails full of hate and gyan.

What I should do, how I should do it, or I shouldn't do it.

It's just pathetic downright, if you ask me.

Because nobody's paying attention to them, but they are wasting their time writing to us.

Instead, they could just say, can I please have a free membership?

And we have hundreds of free membership in the system.

So people will see what they want to see.

If that's going to bother you beyond a certain degree, then let me tell you, either they are right or it's your problem.

If you are walking the path of truth, yes, you can express yourself, you can maybe even explain yourself to those who really matter.

Because those who should be in your life, they should be aligned with your thought process.

And if they're aligned, they will be there.

If they're not aligned, do you actually want them?

So the thing to remember is, are you sure about what you are doing?

If you are not, then maybe listen to them.

Good or bad, whenever anybody says anything to you, give it a hearing.

Because We can't possibly assume or imagine that everybody out in the world is wrong when they say something about us that we dislike.

We can't possibly make that assumption that I am right all the time.

Because it's not my assumption, it's my belief.

So I can't always assume that I'm right all the time.

That everybody who says anything contrary to what I think is wrong.

Such a person will never evolve spiritually.

Then how would you rise above the showers of praise or the hurling of abuse?

To rise above it, I must have the courage to listen to it.

If I do, then I must have the wisdom to reflect on it or discard it.

And then I must have the insight to accept what I should to become a better human being.

Today, somehow, the society is so self-focused.

We are so incredibly self-centered, not necessarily in a negative way, but purely from a psychological perspective, that we don't want to hear anything from anybody if it's not good about us.

Everybody is so sensitive, so touchy, That they say, never question me, never interfere, and never oppose me.

We must give people the option, the privilege, and the choice to respond to us, to express themselves.

When I announced the astrology event some people in my inner circle were disturbed.

They said, look, we thought you were against astrology.

When I shared with them that I will be announcing this soon, they said,

That's before I announced it, when I shared with them that I will be announcing

They said we thought you were against astrology.

I said, I have never said I'm against astrology.

I said, astrology must not be used to predict your life.

And astrology must not be the guiding force in you deciding how you want to lead your life.

I've never said that it's a waste of time.

And I've said you must believe in yourself and your education and your skills to pull through life, as opposed to dead planets hovering in the universe.

And I said, I believe there is a higher force.

I know there is a higher force than planets.

And that it is no more than a framework that was put in place thousands of years ago.

But just because I don't practice astrology does not mean I will run away from it thinking, oh no no no astrology absolutely not.

It's 1 of the 6 aspects of Vedas in Sanatana Dharma.

Every major sage of the past knew astrology and all the little ones pretended they knew it.

Because if you know what's in it, you will never be afraid of it.

Nobody will then say to you, oh, Your shani is not doing too good, so 55, 000 rupees here, plus some sarson ka tel, and things like that.

So when I announced, some people were baffled, but those people met her to me.

If you want I said I can cancel the event.

So sometimes all it takes is to help the other person understand your perspective.

Now once you've done it, then it's up to them.

I would happily explain something once, not explain myself but clarify something once.

Or I will even explain myself to somebody if I know this person's intention is different.

But the second time on the same issue, they are on their own.

They've got to figure it out on their own, because I've already explained my position on the issue.

I've already stated what I stand for, and so forth.

Don't take it personally, and Don't take it personally.

So that's just the only thing to remember.

When bad things happen or when undesirable things happen, don't take it personally.

As JK Rowling, she said something along the lines that if you are in the creative field, she said to expect that you will be eternally showered with praise is sheer ignorance.

And the more majestic your gait, the gait of the elephant, the more dogs will bark.

But not every person who's saying something is a dog who's barking.

What I mean to say is not everybody who goes against us is a bad human being.

Not everybody who disagrees with us is our enemy.

Sometimes, in fact, it's quite the opposite.

We should have the patience and self-belief enough, at least to the degree where we say, look, OK, I'm sitting.

And then decide what we want to do about it.

If they are bringing the same issue to you, then you say, look, I've already stated.

And it also boils down to, do you need them, or do they need you?

Because we can call our emotions whatever we like, but at the end of the day, it's needs based.

You go to somebody because you need them 1 way or the other.

There is such a need that's getting fulfilled.

Why are I, there is the whole world, why I'm sitting here?

Because I have the need to share with the world what I got blessed with.

If that need wasn't there perhaps I would be in solitude all year round.

And when they change, if you still want them in your life, either you change with them, Or you provide the new things they are looking for, or you say, ta-ta, bye-bye, and you move on.

I mean, of course, there's the way people keep on complaining and grumbling and be grumpy and still be together.

I think that's also quite a reasonable way to live in the world.

But the idea is that you've got to be open to the possibility and the idea and the remark and the suggestion that I could be wrong.

And maybe what you then see will be very different as opposed to holding the belief that the other person just doesn't know.

They don't understand and so on and so forth.
