new ideas that didn't exist that now exist.

Both projects have put in a fuck ton of work.

2 of my favorite projects in S4 that I've been seeing progress, Symphonic versus General Cybernetics.

Hey, I'm Viraj and we are General Cybernetics.

If your brain was an AI model, it would be 800 times larger than GPD-3 and consume about 1% of the energy.

Biological neurons are far superior than artificial neurons.

And that's why we're building a computer made out of biological neurons.

We use a mix of growth mediums and antibiotics to grow neurons on top of a special plate that enables us to read and write signals from them, which are then passed on to a special chip that converts these action potentials into bits that are understandable by your laptop, enabling you to do extremely cool stuff, like training neurons to play Pong, Doom, or even controlling swarms of robots with them.

a wearable hands-free silent communicator.

The reason why Chris and I are creating this is we've seen firsthand how bad it is when someone is unable to communicate.

Avery and I have had family who have suffered from communication disorders.

We both know what it's like when you're unable to communicate with someone you love.

Hey Avery, did you take your medications tonight?

All you need to do is simply mouth up the words that you want to say.

Our device will pick up the muscle activity and transcribe that to either text or your own voice.

For instance, if you lost your voice and you still have recordings of it, a clone of that voice can be made and you can vocalize with that clone using Symphonic.

could just use this with things you use all the time already, like your phone,

with someone not in the same room as you.
