And I don't know about you, but I want to receive everything that he has for me this morning.

He's the 1 who sets us free, delivers us in our minds, our bodies.

He's the 1 who has exactly what you need.

If you're thirsty and hungry for something, he's got it.

Well, somebody just raise your hands and just, let's just participate in the times of refreshing that come from the presence of God.

We just give you the fruit of our lips giving thanks and praise giving.

And Lord God, in Jesus' name, we say that we are not going to leave this place without receiving all that you have for us, for we hunger and thirst after everything that you've got for us.

We're not talking about just a set of beliefs or a dogma or anything like that.

We're talking about God himself living in us and upon us.

I do thank God for the experience of the Spirit of God within us and upon us.

And to have a relationship with the Creator of the Almighty God, the Creator of the universe, and the 1 who has reached out to us and knows us intimately, and will never stop reaching out to us, and will never stop revealing His love to us, amen?

Do you want to receive all that God has for you in Jesus name?

Everything that God has for you in Jesus name.

Well, it's not just by saying a bunch of verses and just sentencing and just by but it's by the Holy Spirit It's by the Holy Spirit is by receiving that which he has for you today and Has for you he will give it to you hallelujah.

Yes, you already said you were I mean, you think you still are Hallelujah.

I don't know if I want to start the message or if I just want to just see what the Holy Spirit has to do this morning.

Holy Spirit, what do you want to do this morning?

Just this morning, because we know you want to.

Oh Father God you have plans and purposes and who are we to stand in the way of your Holy Spirit to move in our midst.

Praise you, Father, you know, or whatever it is, it's not a sport.

It's something so we're debating together to receive this thing.

We're drawing on the Holy Spirit together, amen?

If you came here with a big question for God, if you came here with a big need, if you came here with a big hurt, expect the Holy Spirit to impart something to you right here and right now.

We're not talking about arguing whether something's true.

An argument is no match for an experience.

And when the Holy Spirit touches you and blesses you and strengthens you and gives you that which you need, no arguments pale in significance, amen?

Each and every heart this morning, I thank you, Lord God, that we understand the need and the reality of the spirit within and the spirit upon.

I thank you, Lord, that we are spiritual people.

For Lord, you can impart to us in just a couple minutes what would take months and years for somebody to try to impart, because it's by your spirit.

It's not by power or by might, but by the spirit of God.

Well, I'm just gonna go forward here a little bit and see what happens.

And I wanna review a little bit, because last week we began our series on the spirit within and the spirit upon.

And we found out that the Holy Spirit is another comforter of the exact same kind of Jesus, as Jesus.

We found out that when Jesus went up to heaven to prepare a place for us and build all the mansions and get everything ready for us, He did not send a poor substitute or a second class substitute spirit.

The third person of the Godhead, He is God Almighty.

And in case we forgot, He's the 1 who created the earth.

He's got quite a resume of capabilities, amen?

And he wants to manifest himself in us, and he wants to manifest himself through us, amen?

And so we found out that the Holy Spirit is another comforter, and that word for comforter means helper, advocate, intercessor, counselor, and teacher.

That means he does a lot of good stuff on our behalf and he's in us say this with me the Holy Spirit is in me and he's big.

He says I'm a thousand times bigger on the inside.

And the more I think about, the more I realize that what people are hungering for so bad in this earth, they're running away from, many of them, it's the Spirit of God in them.

He's the 1 that fills our hearts with fullness and gladness, amen?

And nothing else will do once you've tasted of the goodness of the Holy Spirit.

I'll never forget when I was a teenager 1 time, I think I was about 17 years old, And I was just minding my own business in bed 1 night, and the Holy Spirit came up.

I don't know why he did, but I'm sure glad he did.

And I was just praising him in awe and worship and almost couldn't hardly stand it.

If I got any more full of the Holy Spirit, I think I would have popped.

And I was just worshiping him for until like 4 in the morning.

I couldn't stop because I just got a glimpse.

I mean, just a little glimpse of how great He is, of how much He loved.

And I just said, you know, Lord, whether I feel it or not, I know it's a fact all the time.

And You know, on this earth, the Holy Spirit, we said this last week, is pretty much all of God that we're gonna see unless we have an open vision of Jesus.

Jesus said, I'm going up to prepare a place for you.

And so he sent the Holy Spirit to be here and to meet all of our needs, amen?

And so it would pay for us to be more acquainted than ever before with the Holy Spirit.

And so that's why we're talking about the Spirit within.

1, it is imperative that we become very well acquainted with the Holy Spirit.

And so the more well acquainted we are with, self to us accurately, amen.

And so if you're gonna be a person of the spirit, we need to be a person of the word.

Jesus said, I have food that you know not of.

And so we gotta take that spiritual food and take it all the time, all the time.

Not just on Sundays, not just on midweek or anything like that, although Sundays and prayer on Wednesday night is fantastic, but all the time, every day, we need to be thinking about that.

And the Holy Spirit will come upon those words.

The Holy Spirit ain't gonna come upon your words or my words.

He will come upon the words of Jesus, the Word of God, and he will quicken them and reproduce them in our lives and create beautiful and wonderful things in our personal lives and in our relationships and in our businesses and in our...

The Holy Spirit is mighty and very strong, but he's looking for people to participate and co-op...

And so the Spirit, and then we found out that joy is a sign of the spirit in us Joy is a sign, you know in Acts chapter 8 It says in verse 8 when Philip the evangelist went down to Samaria and preached the gospel It says and there was great joy in that city.

It says and there was great joy in that city.

It says, and there was great joy in that city.

And so I wanna see, hallelujah, that the spirit is within and the spirit is upon us, Hallelujah.

And so joy is a sign of the Spirit in us.

And then the third thing we found out that the Holy Spirit does is the Holy Spirit with wine wearing his excess but be ye filled with the Spirit speaking.

This is be ye filled with the Spirit speaking.

The Spirit of God will always affect our mouths if we're down in the mouth We know 1 thing We need to get more full of the Spirit.

Because the Spirit of God is always, what things soever are true, what things soever are honest, what things soever are just, what things...

That's what the spirit is thinking, hallelujah.

And that's what we're supposed to be thinking all the time.

We dwell with the negative, or I'm sorry, we deal with the negative.

You know people say, well you're just preaching a positive gospel.

And if you wanna preach something else, go on ahead, but I just soon preached the word.

I just soon run to my shelter and my strong tower and realize that it don't matter what the devil brings, it don't matter what this world brings, it doesn't matter what I hear on CNN or ABC or CBS or whatever other channel, because righteousness is going to exalt this nation.

And I'm not gonna let the news steal my joy.

And I'm not gonna let some president, 1 president or another steal my joy.

And I'm not gonna let some other nation steal my joy.

I'm going to operate in joy and peace and receive the full benefits.

The Bible says in Psalms 103, forget not.

Well, some people, they say, well, I'm just glad, you know, I'm sort of barely saved.

And, you know, I think God has forgiven my sins and all I really want to have is some little cabin in glory land.

We need to receive everything that God has for us.

To be hungry and thirsty after everything.

Don't think God is thinking you're too selfish.

Why not receive everything that the Spirit of God within and the Spirit upon has for us?

So there are 3 that we're gonna, That's sort of the end of the review.

I'm gonna just share something real quick, a little bit more about the spirit within.

You know, the Bible says as many as are led by the spirit, they are the sons of God.

And so being led by the spirit is something It doesn't necessarily and most likely will not mean an open vision.

It does not mean anything real dramatic, but he will speak to you with a still small voice.

You will wake up in the morning with a word, Just a word, maybe just a 2 syllable word, and that will be given to you by the Holy Spirit.

And he will direct you, and he will cause you to.

He's not going to lead you down some messed up path where you decrease and you get all poverty stricken and get all sick and lose all kinds of stuff.

As long as we put him first and seek first the kingdom of God, what does it say?

All these other things will be added unto us.

And so I'm not putting things first, I'm putting Jesus first, but I just know what kind of a God Jesus is, hallelujah.

And so learning to cultivate the Holy Spirit's lead.

First John chapter 5 verse 7 says this, for there are 3 that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, who's the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these 3.

And Jesus said, and John, he said, the Holy Spirit is gonna take of my words and reveal them to you.

So like I shared with you before a long time ago, somebody said, well, ever since I've been giving my offerings to Benny Hinn, I've been winning big in the slot machines.

That wasn't necessarily the Holy Spirit telling them to go play the slot machines, amen?

And so we can always, we need to measure everything by the word.

But anyway, the word and the spirit always agree.

I must confess to you, I lived in Nevada for 23 years.

I worked in a hotel casino for 18 years as a senior carpenter.

And the whole 23 years I was in Southern Nevada, I gambled 1 quarter.

I gambled that quarter and I lost it in about 5 seconds.

And then I looked at the horizon and I thought to myself,

And I learned my lesson early, hallelujah.

No, just kidding, no, I learned my lesson.

So if God can trust us with his, this is number 2.

If God can trust us with his written word, he will trust us with his spoken word.

You know, Kenneth Copeland said, he said, the Lord appeared to me 1 time in my life.

So he prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed.

And finally, Jesus appeared to him, he said.

do this again, you're gonna start hearing some stuff that you don't wanna be hearing.

He says, you're gonna get off into error.

All into prayer, I'm gonna pray until God speaks to me.

You'll get a word, but you can't twist God's arm.

You remember when we did that message some time ago that the Spirit of God speaks expressly.

He'll speak to you, He will lead you and guide you.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

And so be confident that your steps are ordered by God.

Be confident that God wants to reward you and bless you.

Be confident that God wants to increase you.

And be content as he grows you and increases you and brings you from glory With me this morning hallelujah because that's our God and so The spirit we talked about be quick to repent.

This is the third point, be quick to repent.

Timothy chapter 4, verse 1 and 2, it says, Now the spirit speaketh expressly.

So the spirit is saying this, that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies and hypocrisy.

Now this is what I wanna emphasize, having their conscience seared with a hot iron.

You know, our consciences can get seared, they can get insensitive, they can get tough, you know what I'm talking about.

When your conscience, It got you, convicts you about, and see what you can do to adjust that.

Accomplish the purpose I wanted for it to accomplish.

So I sent it, I gave it back and they gave me a refund.

And I forgot, I left 1 part of this item in my van and it was a very small part of the item but it was sitting in my van and I kept looking at it.

It's like you need to take that thing back to the store and then another voice said they don't care about it the thing's probably worth 25 cents it's not even worth the gas it'd take to go to the store and then I heard another voice say you need to take that thing back to the store I went back to the store and found this little item.

I refunded, I returned something for a refund, and this little item was part of it.

And the guy looked at me, and he sort of shook his head, and he said, thank you.

But you know, when the Holy Spirit, or when your born again spirit tells you to do something and convicts you to do something like that, we need to do it.

Because when we're obedient about the real little things, the Holy Spirit on the inside of us will guide us for bigger things.

And so the third thing concerning the leading and acting, and leading.

Sometimes the Lord will tell you something in a dramatic fashion, and it's not just obeying that word, or maybe he'll impress you.

It's not just obeying that word but it's obeying that word with the right spirit.

If God tells you to go speak to somebody and share something, make sure you share in the right spirit.

Make sure you share it with a willing spirit.

The Bible says if we're willing and obedient, we shall eat the good of the land.

Some people are willing, but not obedient.

You know, lucky that when you're sitting in the belly of a whale for what, 3 days and 3 nights, they say it turns your skin white.

I have never seen it before, but I think the guy, his hair was probably pretty much dissolved.

He comes into the Nineveh and he says, hey, the same guy who did this to me, they're looking at him, the same guy who did this to me has a message for you.

But the thing is Jonah was obedient, but he wasn't willing.
